Witnesses Sought for Stone-Throwing Incidents and Burglaries in Heilbronn
In the past week, several incidents have occurred in Heilbronn and its surrounding areas. Here's a rundown of the events:

Break-ins and Thefts
In Neckarsulm, unknown individuals broke into a shisha bar and stole the proceeds from two slot machines. In Brackenheim, a winery was burglarised overnight from Friday to Saturday, with a low five-figure amount of cash stolen. Unknown individuals also forced their way into a single-family home in Bad Rappenau-Zimmerhof, stealing jewelry and valuable items of unknown value. In Oedheim, bicycles and a bike trailer were stolen from a garage in Heinrich-Fries-Straße.
Road Accidents
On Saturday afternoon, a 62-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in an accident on the county road 2107 in Loewenstein. The collision occurred at the junction of the county road and a field path. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a clinic.
On Sunday afternoon, a Skoda left the A81 near Widdern and ended up on a forest path. The accident involved a 36-year-old driver and three passengers, aged 43, 7, and 4. The damages from both vehicles are estimated at around 10,000 euros for the Skoda and 30,000 euros for the damages to the vehicle, guardrail, and forested slope.
On Sunday morning, an unknown road user lost a winch and several lashing straps on the A81 near Hardthausen am Kocher, damaging four following vehicles.
Driving Under the Influence
In an accident on the district road 2328 in Jagsthausen, a Mercedes driver fled the scene, causing another accident on the state road 1050. The Mercedes driver was under the influence of drugs and had almost 0.8 promille of alcohol in his breath. The Mercedes was no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away.
Changes in Police Leadership
The Police Chief of the Heilbronn Police Headquarters is Police President Frank Spitzmüller, while the head of the Heilbronn Police District (Polizeirevier Heilbronn) is Chief Inspector (Kriminaloberrat) Stefan Schwab since June 1, 2023.
