The Gilbert, Arizona campus of Park University will now be stationed at Bell Bank Park in Mesa.
Park University's Gilbert Campus in Arizona is set to enhance its athletic programme this spring, as its teams will begin using Bell Bank Park as their new training and competition base.
The multi-sport complex, owned by Legacy Sports USA, is a 320-acre family sports and entertainment venue in Mesa, Ariz. The partnership between Park University and Legacy Sports USA is a multiyear agreement that aims to support the university's academic and athletic success.
Since its opening in October 2018, Park University's Gilbert Campus has enjoyed academic and athletic success through various partnerships and strategic alliances. The new home at Bell Bank Park will be shared by the men's and women's basketball, soccer, volleyball, women's beach volleyball, and softball teams, as well as the cross country, golf, indoor/outdoor track and field, and men's baseball teams.
Yira Brimage, vice president of the Park-Gilbert campus, expressed her excitement about continuing to strengthen partnerships in the Greater East Valley and looking forward to cheering on student-athletes at their new home at Bell Bank Park. Jeff Fore, the director of athletics and women's basketball head coach at Park-Gilbert Campus, stated that the state-of-the-art facilities at Bell Bank Park will offer one of the best experiences for their teams and athletes in NAIA and the Cal Pac.
Jeff de Laveaga, the chief operating officer of Legacy Sports USA, announced the partnership, emphasising that it would help focus on championship goals and student success, both inside and outside the classroom. He expressed confidence that the new facilities would provide an excellent opportunity for Park University's Gilbert Campus athletics teams to train and compete at world-class facilities.
Bell Bank Park is designed to support soccer, baseball, and other team sports, offering high-quality facilities to improve training, competition, and community engagement. The complex is expected to significantly boost the university's athletic programme and provide a stimulating environment for its student-athletes.
