The initial monthly remuneration for the position is Rs. 18,000/- + 30% HRA, which equals ₹23,400/- per month (Year I & II). There is a 5% increment on initial emoluments after every two years based on performance. The position is purely contractual, initially for one year or up to the duration of the project (whichever is earlier). The nature of employment may be extended yearly based on satisfactory performance.

Candidates should meet the essential qualification of a three-year degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Biochemistry, or allied disciplines. Desirable qualifications include experience in novel product development, biochemical techniques, biostatistics, etc., and a minimum of one year of work experience in a relevant subject.

Candidates currently employed must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. The age limit is as per ICMR guidelines, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women candidates. Only shortlisted candidates with essential qualifications will be interviewed. No TA/DA or travel allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
