In the heart of Amman, Jordan, the 10th Arab Chemistry Olympiad took place from August 5 to August 9, 2025. This prestigious competition, aimed at fostering academic excellence and scientific skills among high school students across the Arab world, saw the participation of 11 Arab countries. Among these were Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, and the host country Jordan [1].

The competition was a resounding success for Kuwaiti students, who brought home a total of four medals. Ali Salem Behbehani, a 12th-grade student at the Joint Talent Academy, earned a silver medal, while Ibrahim Faisal Al-Rashidi, an 11th-grade student at Mohammed Mahmoud Najm Secondary School, and Zahraa Mohammed Al-Haddad, a 10th-grade student at Toledo Secondary School, each won a bronze medal [1]. Another bronze medal was awarded to Hala Al-Rashidi, an 11th-grade student at Al-Rawda Secondary School (Talent Classes) [1].

Each delegation consisted of four students and two supervisors, ensuring a balanced and competitive environment for all participants. The Olympiad is a testament to the high academic standing of Kuwaiti students and reaffirms Kuwait's strong presence in regional and international scientific competitions [1].

The Ministry of Education commended educational advisors Saud Al-Shammari and Haifa Al-Adwani for their role in training and preparing the students.
