StartSchool Latvia Launches Pioneering Tech Entrepreneurship Program
StartSchool, a pioneering program in Latvia, has sparked significant interest with its first watch set to begin in August 2025. The initiative, founded by Johannes Schaback and Max Lehr, aims to foster entrepreneurship and technological prowess, with over 100 participants already secured.
The program offers a comprehensive, 12-month training experience, starting in August 2025, and applications are open until March 31, 2025. It covers a wide range of topics, including startup creation, management, idea generation, prototyping, marketing, sales, and investment attraction. The curriculum is divided into two modules: technology and business.
The technology module is designed in collaboration with Qwasar - Silicon Valley, providing an intensive, project-based learning experience. Participants can expect hands-on workshops, company visits, hackathons, and presentation training. By the end of the program, they will gain foundational programming knowledge and understand related processes.
Anna Andersone, CEO of StartSchool, has expressed enthusiasm about the overwhelming interest in the first program. Notably, 30% of the initial participants aspired to start their own companies, and they have already formed over 20 teams. Furthermore, the top 50 participants' studies will be fully funded.
StartSchool's mission is to build a globally competitive tech hub and position Latvia as a technology center. With its rigorous curriculum, industry collaborations, and funding opportunities, the program is poised to nurture the next generation of tech entrepreneurs and innovators.
