Six students contract COVID-19 in Nur-Sultan: Report

In the bustling city of Nur-Sultan, six students have succumbed to the relentless grip of the coronavirus. This includes a student attending a duty class. However, it's a glimmer of hope that as per city's Chief Sanitary Doctor, Jeanne Pralieva, no cases of coronavirus have emerged among the hardworking educators.

However, that doesn't mean everything's running smoothly in the city's educational institutions. In fact, Pralieva highlighted that about 30 schools have been found snubbing sanitary norms. The disregard for health guidelines was evident during the city-wide monitoring of educational institutions. The head of one such institution received an administrative sanction for neglecting the provision of masks for both teachers and parents within the school premises.

On an entirely different front, local entrepreneurs in the capital have been hit with fines for flouting restrictive measures, as reported by Almaty.tv. But these violators aren't alone; it appears both individuals and businesses are brazenly ignoring measures to sustain social distancing, wear masks, and avoid mass gatherings.

Pralieva doesn't mince words. She states that district departments of the Police Department have dished out a whopping 550 fines totaling over 122 million tenge since the implementation of restrictive and quarantine measures. These fines, 246 of which were issued to individuals and the remaining 304 to businesses, serve as a stark reminder of the consequences of non-compliance with the rules.
