Sharjah Initiates Dh1-Million Infrastructure Venture for Electricity and Water Supply in Wadi Al Helo Residential District

The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) is progressing with the third phase of its electricity and water distribution network project for the Al-Muhtadi residential complex in the Wadi Al Helo area. This initiative aims to enhance the electrical infrastructure and provide a dependable water network to cater to both current and future requirements in the Al-Muhtadi neighbourhood.

The project aligns with SEWA's strategy to deliver high-quality services across Sharjah, fostering urban development and enhancing living standards. The key components and costs associated with the project are as follows:

**Electricity Distribution:** - An 11 kV electricity distribution station is being established as part of the project. - Five electrical distribution boxes will be installed. - Over one kilometer of medium-voltage cables will be extended. - Approximately 1,920 meters of low-voltage cables will be laid. - The total cost of the electricity work is estimated at AED 1,100,000 (approximately $297,000 USD).

**Water Network:** - The water pipeline system utilises high-quality GRE pipes, renowned for their strength and durability. - The water network project costs AED 232,154 (approximately $63,200 USD).
