Palo Alto Networks Launches CyberFit Nation to Boost Australian Cybersecurity Knowledge
Palo Alto Networks has launched CyberFit Nation, a free online educational program aimed at enhancing cybersecurity knowledge among various stakeholders in Australia. The program, launched by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), comes at a time when cybercrime reports have surged by 13% in the past year.
CyberFit Nation, delivered quarterly with face-to-face sessions through industry partnerships, is the third addition to Palo Alto Networks' comprehensive cybersecurity education portfolio. It follows the success of Cyber Security Academy and Cybersecurity Fundamentals, aligning with NIST and NICE frameworks and covering cloud and network security.
The program features masterclasses and clinics tailored for boards, professionals, end users, and children. Topics range from cybersecurity fundamentals and digital safety to risk mitigation. To celebrate its launch, Palo Alto Networks invited partners like Google Cloud and AIIA to its new Melbourne office.
The new office space will support the growing ANZ customer base and initiatives like CyberFit Nation. Simon Green, president for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Palo Alto Networks, emphasised the importance of education in protecting digital identities and business assets online. CyberFit Nation aims to make each day safer and more secure by providing accessible cybersecurity education to all.
