NAHB Offers Grants for Leadership Conferences Across the US
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is offering grants to cover registration costs for eligible participants in its Area Leadership Conferences. These in-person events provide valuable leadership development and networking opportunities for industry professionals across the country.
NAHB hosts these conferences, with the upcoming Hawaii event scheduled for March 12-13, 2026, in Waipahu, Hawaii (Area 14). The association has created a toolkit to assist states or areas in hosting similar events. Other spring 2026 conferences are also planned, with topics ranging from effective recruiting to board transitions.
Michael Munnerlyn and Bubba Jenkins, attendees from previous conferences, found the training valuable for their business interactions and leadership roles. Upcoming conferences include Seattle (Area 15) on Oct. 15-17 and Kearney, Neb. (Area 11) on Nov. 6-7. Rachel Branson, NAHB's leadership training and development director, can be contacted to bring these conferences to an area. In 2025, two area conferences have been held, with two more scheduled for the fall.
NAHB's Area Leadership Conferences offer a unique opportunity for industry professionals to enhance their leadership skills and network with peers. With grants covering registration costs and upcoming events planned across the country, these conferences are not to be missed.
