Moscow Fashion Week Solidifies Global Status with Indian, Russian Designers
Moscow Fashion Week successfully concluded, solidifying its position as a significant event on the global fashion calendar. The week-long event featured collections from designers across 13 countries, fostering international dialogue, particularly with India.
The event saw participation from notable Indian designers such as Shantnu & Nikhil Mehra. They showcased their first-ever women's couture collection, 'Armouré,' inspired by the 1930s. The collection was a hit among both young audiences and buyers.
Pawan Sachdeva, a member of the Fashion Design Council of India's Board of Governors, also participated in the event. He displayed his urban, well-tailored styles, attracting significant attention.
Russian designers like Ianis Chamalidy, Kisselenko, Stas Lopatkin, and Vira Plotnikova also showcased their collections. The event was held concurrently with the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, one of the industry's largest and most significant business events.
Moscow Fashion Week and the BRICS+ Fashion Summit established Moscow as a thriving fashion hub and a platform for cultural exchange. The event attracted international runway stars like David Tlale and Emre Erdemoglu, further cementing its status on the global fashion scene.
