In the world of marine exploration, Hargitt Marine Services has made a name for itself, albeit with a mixed history. Founded by Mark Hargitt, a self-proclaimed amateur naval historian with a passion for deep-sea mysteries, the company specializes in boat towing, underwater diving, and—once upon a time—treasure hunting.

Mark, who underwent marine training, had a vision to uncover long-lost fortunes hidden beneath the sea bed. However, his project, which promised a high-risk, high-reward outcome, faced numerous challenges. Critics claim that a lack of innovation and an inability to fully comprehend all factors of the project contributed to its difficulties.

Hargitt Marine Services found itself in tough competition, particularly with Mariposa Shipwrecks, which boasted more marine rights from the state government, better resources, and a professional crew. This competition, coupled with the project's uncertain future, may have taken a toll on Mark's ambitions.

In 20XX, Mark appeared on Shark Tank to pitch his treasure-hunting venture. He presented a project to recover a colossal treasure, for which he demanded 2.5 million dollars in exchange for 25% of the stakes of his business project. Despite his compelling presentation, Mark did not secure a successful investment deal from the Sharks.

Following this setback, Mark may have lost motivation for treasure hunting, leading him to shift the focus of his company. Today, Hargitt Marine Services operates primarily in choked vessel removal, beach cleaning, underwater exploration, and tourism, catering to those with a passion for marine and ocean-related activities, adventure-seeking individuals, and tourists fascinated by scuba diving, underwater exploration, and other water-related activities.

Interestingly, Hargitt Marine Services has been authorised for underwater excavations in Egypt and is currently active in underwater excavations in Croatia. Mark also holds the rights from the State of Alaska to salvage the boat wreck in which the treasure is present.

Despite the company's recent shift in focus, Hargitt Marine Services still faces competition in the market. The company's minimal social media reach and lack of a running website have been areas for improvement. However, with a more organized and professional approach to operations and a more reliable management system, Hargitt Marine Services could potentially achieve tremendous success.

As of recent social media posts, Mark Hargitt is still in business, albeit no longer pursuing treasure hunting projects. The future of Hargitt Marine Services remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: the company continues to make waves in the world of marine exploration.
