Lifts and elevators installed in the buildings under construction of UrFU's second phase campus have been completed.

The Institute of Economics and Management (INEU) and the Specialized Educational-Scientific Center (SUCNC) are nearing completion at an 85% rate in terms of external facadework. Clean-up and internal room retrofitting, as well as engineering system and network installations, are currently in progress. All structures now have fully installed lifts and elevators.

Outdoor construction projects, such as landscape improvements and the installation of electrical grid and lighting systems, are also underway. During the summer, the installation of technological and scientific equipment, as well as furniture, will also begin.

Contracted personnel of 1155 specialists and 31 units of machinery are working on the three educational buildings, with a total area of 100,000 square meters, planned for completion in Q4 2025.

The first phase of the UrFU campus, spanning 250,000 square meters, that was previously commissioned, includes dormitories for 8,500 students, a classroom building, a medical center, sports facilities, and comprehensive infrastructure.

The client for the second phase of the UrFU campus development is the Federal Public-Private Partnership (PPK) "Common Client in Construction."

By President Putin's decree, Russia is set to create a network of 25 modern campuses by 2030. This project, overseen by the Russian Government and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, supported by the national project "Youth and Children," aims to have 40 educational environments, fostering a unified student, teacher, and scholar culture in Moscow and multiple regions like the Zabaikalsky Krai, Kamchatka, Primorye, Sverdlovsk, Murmansk, and Sмоленskaya oblast, Republic of Buryatia by 2036.
