Kicks off with a surge of vitality, the new academic term begins
Community College Meerbusch is gearing up for the fall semester, set to begin on September 15, 20XX, with a diverse range of courses in foreign languages, health, and culture. The revised programme, modern, clear, and colourful, promises to cater to a wide array of interests.
In the foreign language area, registrations can be made under vhs-our-town or by email at community-college@our-town. Five new English courses are now available, accompanying children from preschool age to elementary school. Two Chinese courses, one for adults and one for children, have been added to the language area. The search results do not contain specific names of the teachers who will teach the two new Chinese courses.
The health area offers a fascinating blend of traditional and innovative workshops. Qi-Gong is offered at Lank, while Feldenkrais courses are gaining popularity. The digital world is strongly represented, with topics ranging from deepfakes and disinformation to artificial intelligence and big data. Viral reels for social media and a practical introduction to ChatGPT are also offered.
For those who prefer to tinker and turn a digital idea into a real object, 3D printing workshops are available. In the culture area, Latin American folk dances are available, and the new atelier seminar opens up creative possibilities with stone, wood, and gypsum. The culture area offers new impulses, including interesting facts about the Elbphilharmonie.
The society area, which includes 30 sustainability courses, offers a total of 66 course options. Innovative workshops like "I Make Chemistry" invite young explorers to investigate fascinating reactions and understand the world of science playfully. Exciting combo courses under the motto "Cooking and Language" are available, including international holiday recipes and Japanese delicacies.
An integration course for immigrants will start at the end of October. For the first time, a Vini-Yoga course will take place in Büderich. Practical side strips have been added to facilitate quick course searches. The new program cover reflects the diversity of offerings and what the college stands for as a community college.
Large-format photos structure the subject areas and create visual clarity in the new program. Job-oriented language courses at levels B1 to C1 are supplemented by the integration course for immigrants. The fall and winter semester will offer a diverse range of courses, with foreign languages, health, and culture being the top three areas.
VHS director Béatrice Delassalle-Wischert expressed her excitement about the new programme, stating that it is modern, clear, and colourful, truly reflecting the vibrant and inclusive spirit of Community College Meerbusch.
