Kick off a fresh cycle of SMARD activities!
SMARD Project Kickoffs at Max-Planck-Schule in Partnership with DAK-Gesundheit
The Max-Planck-Schule in Kiel recently initiated the first phase of a collaborative project named SMARD, in collaboration with DAK-Gesundheit. This health and prevention program, which includes the SchulMedienTag, SchülerMedienLots:innen training, and the Gametreff, was launched at the Max-Planck-Schule.
The SchulMedienTag, the first event in the series, took place with five engaging speakers—Felix, Carla, Phillip, Katharina, and Celine. They spent the morning enlightening the 5th graders with valuable insights. The day concluded with an evening session for parents, led by specialist speaker Sabine.
While detailed information about the SMARD project was not readily available, it is known that the project encompasses various initiatives aimed at promoting health and prevention. It is yet to be confirmed whether the project involves GeMTeX, a German medical text corpus for AI, or other smart health initiatives.
Regardless, the Max-Planck-Schule and DAK-Gesundheit are looking forward to the subsequent stages of the SMARD project. The partnership between the two entities promises a comprehensive approach to health education and prevention.
Science and education are expected to play significant roles in the subsequent stages of the SMARD project, as the Max-Planck-Schule and DAK-Gesundheit aim to foster learning in health-and-wellness and self-development. Furthermore, the project's emphasis on promoting health and prevention aligns closely with the principles of education-and-self-development and learning.
