Kazakh Youth's Patriotism Education Discussed in Gelendzhik Meeting
In the picturesque town of Gelendzhik, a gathering centered around the development of Cossack culture and military-patriotic education was recently held. According to Vlasov, the local Cossack society in Gelendzhik shines with eight principal units, uniting more than 850 passionate Cossacks who stand staunchly together. Forty-nine of these enthusiasts dedicate their efforts to ensuring public safety and border security, working closely with law enforcement and border guard representatives. With the anticipated surge in tourists, security has become a top priority this season.

During the meeting, Vlasov also shed a poignant light on the selfless efforts of 60 warriors from the district, who carrying out military tasks in the special operation zone. Regrettably, nine Cossacks have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. The Deputy Governor underlined the importance of supporting our fallen heroes' families.

The town boasts two Cossack schools, 61 specialized classes, and eight Cossack-oriented groups within 19 educational institutions, all led by 42 dedicated mentors.
