Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia asserted that the city will prioritize the improvement of Cebuano lives by providing accessible job-finding services for the youth and offering holistic career development.
According to the data, more than 10,000 individuals found employment through various programs provided by the Disaster Management and Disaster Prevention (DMDP) department.

The Mayor also emphasized his commitment to reducing unemployment within the city.
The DMDP head revealed that around 98% of their job-seeker referrals were placed in jobs. Out of the 10,888 individuals they referred, 10,668 successfully found employment. The Dole's target for this period is set at 10,000 jobs[1][3].
"Our goal is to refer and place 100%," reiterated Aguhar.
