From 2023, the Krasnodar region will reward top-performing graduates who excel in the Unified State Exam (USE) and enroll in regional universities. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev will present these students with monetary prizes, with their teachers also receiving similar payments for their contribution to the students' success. Approximately 27,000 students are set to take the USE this academic year, comprising 24,500 high school graduates and 2,300 students from previous years.
