This year, the REAL SIMPLE editors were lucky to work with a powerhouse team that took the 2024 REAL SIMPLE Home to new heights. From furniture designers to professional organizers, these talented individuals added their unique expertise to the restoration project.
👩🎨 Amber Guyton, Blessed Little Bungalow
Amber Guyton, the founder of Blessed Little Bungalow, brought her flair for design, DIY projects, and product curation to the table. She's not just an interior design guru, but also an influencer, content creator, and recently, a wallpaper designer. With a strong belief that interior design should be accessible to all, she's shared her journey and design wisdom with numerous publications like HGTV Magazine, House Beautiful, Domino, and more.
🌿 Brooklyn Grange
Brooklyn Grange, a rooftop farming pioneer, lent their green thumb expertise to the backyard overhaul. Founded in 2010, they're now the biggest soil-based rooftop farming business in the United States, with over 300,000 square feet of farms across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island. Dedicated to making cities greener and more climate-friendly, they plan to transform the REAL SIMPLE Home's backyard into an urban oasis.

Jessica Davis, the founder of Atelier Davis and creative director of Nest Studio, brings her artistic flair to every project. Their services have expanded since the brand’s 2010 inception, with 95 locations across the United States. Murphy, based in Chicago, and Hagmeyer, based in Colorado, live by the principle that organization shouldn't be a chore but a lifestyle.
🎨 Kate Pearce, Kate Pearce Designs
Kate Pearce, a design blogger and home renovator based in Evanston, IL, contributed her insights and experiences from renovating an 1899 home, similar in age to the REAL SIMPLE Home. Sharing her journey on Instagram, she’s built a loyal following with her knack for vintage finds and DIY projects. With an art history background, she’s also an avid thrifter and museum enthusiast.
💃 Hema Persad, Sagrada Studio
Toronto native Hema Persad, who traded her law career for a life in fashion and interior design, added her chic touch to the REAL SIMPLE Home tour. With a background in dressing A-list celebrities and styling ad campaigns, she launched her design studio, Sagrada Studio, in 2022. When she’s not traveling and exploring LA, Hema enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.
