Park University Graduates Honoured in Virtual Ceremony
In August 2020, Park University held a virtual commencement ceremony to celebrate the achievements of its graduates from the Washington, D.C., area campuses. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the initial plans for a ceremony at Little Hall, MCB Quantico, had to be cancelled.
Despite the challenges, a total of 35 students were eligible to participate in the virtual ceremony. Among them were individuals who had earned degrees in various fields, from Social Psychology to Management, Information and Computer Science, and Healthcare Administration.
One of the graduates, Julie R. Reed from Alexandria, Va., attended Robert E. Fitch High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Another standout student was Kimberly Templeton, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology with Cum Laude honors. Templeton, originally from Apex, N.C., attended West Valley High School in Fairbanks, Alaska, before pursuing her education at Park University.
Other notable graduates include Tasia Caraballo, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology, and Johnesha R. Adams, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology with Magna Cum Laude honors. Adams is from Sneads Ferry, N.C.
In addition to these Bachelor's degree recipients, six students were awarded Master's degrees. Isaias Gaitan Rodriguez received a Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership, while Boile Sanchez Frias earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. Katherine Marie Ward received a Master of Healthcare Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
Jacob James William Swank, who hails from Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C., and attended Sheldon High School, was among those who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Healthcare, graduating with Cum Laude honors. However, Swank was not on the list of graduates who received a Master's degree.
The search for a publicly available list of 2020 graduates from Park University’s Washington, D.C., area campuses has proven unsuccessful. Such information is likely maintained internally by the university registrar or alumni office and is not typically published in publicly accessible online sources. If you are seeking such a list, it is recommended to contact Park University directly for detailed records.
In conclusion, the virtual commencement ceremony was a celebration of the hard work and dedication of the graduates from Park University's Washington, D.C., area campuses. Despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic, these individuals persevered and achieved their academic goals. Their accomplishments serve as an inspiration for future students and a testament to the resilience of the Park University community.
