German Studies Conference 2025: Dialogue in Focus
The Technical University of Braunschweig is set to host the 28th German Studies Conference from September 14 to 17, 2025. The event, themed 'Dialogue', promises to be a significant gathering for Germanists, with over 600 participants expected to attend.
Leading the conference organization is Professor Jan Standke, spokesperson of the German Germanists' Association. The event will kick off with a festive evening on September 14, featuring an opening lecture by Professor Sybille Kraemer on the intriguing topic of 'Do we have a dialogue with chatbots?'.
Over the course of four days, the conference will host over 100 lectures and workshops, delving into the multifaceted nature of dialogue from various perspectives. Five keynote speeches from renowned professors in the field will also be featured. Additionally, a publisher's exhibition and a political talk on the future of German studies will be held, providing ample opportunities for engagement and discourse.
