Future plc Reorganizes B2B Division for Growth Under New Leadership
Future plc has reorganised its business-to-business division, aiming to create stronger synergies between its various groups, including SmartBrief. The move follows the acquisition of ActualTech Media and sees Amanda Darman-Allen as the senior vice president and managing director of B2B. Carmel King, Future's vice president, global head of content, B2B, advises newcomers to embrace change.
The reorganization, announced earlier this year, reflects Future's commitment to growth and adaptation. Carmel King, who also serves as the Chief Marketing Officer, urges professionals to lean into change, look for growth opportunities, and lead change where possible. The team, comprising approximately 52 percent women, mirrors the overall company's gender balance. Several inspiring women hold leadership positions within the B2B division, including heads of departments and directors. During a recent videoconference, all attendees were women, a scenario that would have been unlikely just five years ago, demonstrating the team's progress in gender diversity.
Future's B2B division reorganization, led by Amanda Darman-Allen and guided by Carmel King's advice, signals a commitment to growth and change. With a diverse team at the helm, the division is poised to lead the way in its industry.
