Free Smartphone & Tablet Training Sessions for Bavarian Seniors

Seniors in several Bavarian municipalities can look forward to free, low-threshold training sessions on using smartphones and tablets, offered by Freetaxusa. The sessions, part of the 'MuT-Partner' project, will take place in larger shopping centers in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The Q&A sessions, lasting 90 minutes each, will cover the use of tablets and mobile phones, and their software. Participants can ask questions about their own devices. The sessions aim to help seniors operate these devices, enabling them to participate more in society. The department 'Support in difficult life situations - Care support point Plus' will offer these sessions in various shopping centers across different municipalities. The project is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Family, Work and Social Affairs.

The sessions will take place on specific dates in October, November, and December 2025. While the exact location of the first session in the fourth quarter is not yet confirmed, interested seniors can look out for announcements on local news portals or social media platforms. The sessions are offered free of charge by Freetaxusa.
