Euskirchen Kindergarten Unveils Sensory Nature Outdoor Area
The Mitbachaue kindergarten in Euskirchen has unveiled a newly designed outdoor area, focusing on sensory nature experiences. The kindergarten, certified as a national park kindergarten, aims to foster children's connection with nature and environmental awareness.
The new area boasts features such as willow tipis, a watercourse, and habitats for insects and other creatures. These elements create an immersive environment where children can explore and learn about nature.
Alfred Jaax, the first deputy mayor of Euskirchen and a member of the 'Wir für euch' foundation's board, commended the kindergarten's efforts. He praised their dedication to introducing young minds to the natural world and strengthening their environmental understanding.
The 'Wir für euch' citizens' foundation of Euskirchen has supported the kindergarten's project with a donation of over 500 euros. The kindergarten's unique outdoor space is set to enrich the learning experience of its young pupils, fostering a lifelong appreciation for nature and the environment.
