Euskirchen Kindergarten Transforms Outdoor Area into Nature Haven

The Mitbachaue kindergarten in Euskirchen has transformed its outdoor area into a nature lover's paradise, thanks to a generous donation from the 'Wir für euch' civic foundation. The kindergarten, now a certified national park kindergarten, focuses on nature and environmental education.

The newly designed area boasts impressive features such as willow tipis, a meandering watercourse, and a dead wood habitat that serves as a haven for insects. The kindergarten's outdoor space is meticulously planned to provide sensory nature experiences for its young pupils.

Alfred Jaax, the first deputy mayor of Euskirchen, commended the kindergarten's dedication to introducing children to the wonders of nature. He praised their efforts to strengthen environmental awareness among the city's youngest residents.

The 'Wir für euch' civic foundation, in its commitment to supporting local initiatives, donated over 500 euros to the Mitbachaue kindergarten project. This donation has significantly enhanced the kindergarten's outdoor learning environment, setting the stage for a new generation of nature enthusiasts and environmental stewards.
