European Code Week Returns to Lünen with Free 3D Printing & Block Programming Workshops
European Code Week is returning this October, from the 11th to the 26th, with a mission to inspire young minds for digital technologies. The event in Lünen, Germany, offers free workshops that build upon each other, providing practical insights into 3D printing and block programming.
The first workshop takes place from the 13th to the 15th of October at the Lünen City Library, from 2 pm to 5 pm each day. Participants, aged 10 and above, will gain hands-on experience with a 3D printer and take home a personalized name tag. Registrations are open at the city library, via email at stdtbchrlnnd, or by calling 02306 104-2618.
The second workshop, held from the 20th to the 22nd October at FabLab Lünen in the Bürgerhaus Horstmar, also runs from 2 pm to 5 pm daily. This two-day workshop focuses on teaching block programming and creating personal 3D models. Both workshops are led by the Stadtbücherei Lünen and FabLab Lünen, held in cooperation at the respective venues.
European Code Week's Lünen workshops offer a fantastic opportunity for young people to explore digital technologies during the autumn holidays. With free participation and workshops that build on each other, young innovators can gain practical insights into 3D printing and programming.
