Dubai Introduces Dubai Future Experts Program for Crafting Strategic Decision-Makers of Tomorrow
The Dubai Future Experts Programme (DEEP) is set to return for its second cycle, offering an opportunity for Emirati professionals and Dubai government entities to shape the future of their city through innovative policymaking and strategic thinking.
Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the DEEP is a government-led program aimed at developing a certified network of strategic foresight experts across Dubai's key government sectors.
The program, which is under the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence and the Dubai Future Foundation, is an AI-focused accelerator initiative designed to foster innovation by matching AI experts and companies worldwide with over 20 Dubai government entities. The goal is to collaboratively develop AI-driven solutions that transform public sector services, enhance efficiency, and promote inclusivity.
The DEEP consists of two levels: 'Certified Foresight Practitioner' and 'Certified Foresight Ambassador'. The 'Certified Foresight Practitioner' is scheduled to run from May to June 2025, while the 'Certified Foresight Ambassador' will take place from September to October 2025.
Participants in both levels will gain in-depth knowledge of foresight methodologies and develop future scenarios, engaging in hands-on projects addressing key challenges. Upon completion of the DEEP program, they will receive a certification in strategic foresight.
The application deadline for the 'Certified Foresight Ambassador' level is April 17, 2025. The residency period for this level is scheduled from October 6 to November 28, 2025. Emirati professionals and Dubai government entities can apply or nominate candidates via DFF's official portal.
The DEEP program operates on an equity-free model, allowing participants to retain full ownership of their intellectual property and receive comprehensive logistical support to accelerate solution deployment. It particularly focuses on four categories: personalization of existing services, creation of new AI offerings, improvement of government internal processes, and inclusivity across society.
The Dubai Future Foundation and the Executive Council of Dubai have opened registration for the DEEP. Participants will gain access to an exclusive global network of foresight experts, engage directly with senior government decision-makers, and get the chance to pilot their AI solutions within real government environments. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact on the future of Dubai.
