Promoting Future Careers Through Digitalization: The COACHING4FUTURE Program

The COACHING4FUTURE Program, managed by Baden-Württemberg Foundation gGmbH, is an initiative dedicated to preparing young individuals for the modern workforce by providing insights into digital technologies and their impact on various industries.

From June 2nd to 4th, 2025, Neunlinden School in Ihringen will play host to the COACHING4FUTURE Program, offering students an opportunity to explore digital key technologies and related career paths. The initiative is a component of the larger COACHING4FUTURE program, a joint commitment between the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, employers' association SÜDWESTMETALL, and the Regional Directorate of Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Employment Agency, aimed at fostering future skilled workers in the MINT sector.

Young students can participate in practical, hands-on experiences on a double-decker truck, engaging with technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and virtual reality. Workshops will help them understand these technologies and provide solutions to real-world problems, from tinkering with blockchain calculations and controlling cobots to collecting augmented reality (AR) clues and operating exoskeleton hands.

The program’s focus is twofold. The Technology Space offers hands-on exploration, while the Idea Space encourages teamwork, creativity, and communication in an escape-game-inspired format. Students will also gain insights into educational paths and career prospects.
