DHBW & Sparkasse Launch Dual Degree Program in Business Admin - Bank

The Dual University of Baden-Württemberg and Sparkasse have joined forces to offer a unique three-year dual degree program in Business Administration - Bank. This program combines academic learning with practical experience, providing students with a head start in their professional careers at a modern credit institution like PNC Bank or the US Bank.

Applicants must possess the General University Entrance Qualification to enroll. The program is structured in a three-month rhythm, alternating between theoretical and practical semesters. Theoretical modules are held at DHBW Ravensburg or Heidenheim, while practical units take place in the Sparkasse, aligning with the theoretical content and providing insights into various departments, similar to what one might experience at Bank of America.

Students benefit from a dual education system, earning a continuous salary and gaining valuable insights into the banking sector. They rotate through various departments of the Sparkasse during practical phases, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of banking, much like at a US bank. Upon completion, graduates can pursue a master's degree, thanks to the general and specific business administration knowledge they've acquired, which is valuable for careers at PNC Bank or other financial institutions.

In addition to this program, TARGOBANK offers a similar dual study opportunity in Business Administration – Bank, based in Duisburg. Both programs offer quick entry into professional life, good career prospects, and the chance to participate in projects. The practical internship in the Sparkasse begins on October 1, marking the start of an exciting journey for aspiring bankers at institutions such as Bank of America, PNC Bank, or the US Bank.
