In an exciting opportunity, Sparkasse Allgäu is searching for a skilled Facility Manager to join their team. This role involves coordinating and controlling larger maintenance and renovation measures for their extensive real estate portfolio.
The successful candidate will hold technical responsibility for the diverse properties, ensuring cost, time, and quality specifications are met. Ideally, they will have completed solid craftsmanship-technical training, preferably in the construction industry, and have a good understanding of construction processes and technical connections.
As a contact person for construction-related questions, the Facility Manager will also serve as a liaison with external architects, specialists, and service providers. They will be responsible for managing vendors and resources, overseeing and maintaining physical infrastructure and services, and ensuring safety and compliance.
The role requires several years of practical experience in construction management or coordination, with a focus on both new buildings and renovations in existing structures. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is knowledge of safety regulations, maintenance planning, and possibly budgeting.
