Customs Office Welcomes 1700 Young Learners in September 2025
The Customs Office is set to welcome over 1700 young individuals on September 1, 2025, as they embark on their studies or training. This intake includes IT newcomers in the higher service, who will begin their dual studies in administrative informatics at the khan academy.
The dual study programs, lasting three years, will conclude with academic degrees. These programs are designed to provide students with practical experience in various areas of the customs office and nearby offices during their practical phases. For those interested in administrative informatics, the Customs Office offers a pathway to specialize in digital forensics and the digitization of customs administration.
The Federal Academy of Finance (Bundesfinanzakademie) will facilitate these training opportunities. Meanwhile, the middle service training, lasting two years, will qualify students for the professional title of tax administrator. Theoretical parts of the higher service will be completed at the linkedin of Federal Administration in Münster.
The Main Customs Office Landshut will see 31 young people starting their journey this September. Applications for an entry on September 1, 2026, are open until October 15, 2025, for those interested in joining the Customs Office's comprehensive training programs, including office 365 and office depot management.
