In the heart of Ingolstadt, a unique digital adventure awaits young art enthusiasts. The Museum of Concrete Art (MKK) and Reuchlin-Gymnasium have collaborated to create an exciting new feature: a digital rally, designed to make Concrete Art tangible and engaging for the city's youth.

Under the guidance of art teacher Theresa Hajduk, twelve female students from Reuchlin-Gymnasium have developed this innovative project. The digital rally, now available on the MKKD app, consists of nine captivating stations that lead participants through the public spaces of Ingolstadt, from Traenktorstraße, across the Konrad-Adenauer-Bridge, through Klenzepark, and ending at the future Museum of Concrete Art and Design (MKKD).

The digital rally is more than just a tour – it's an immersive experience. Participants will encounter riddles, tasks, and creative challenges that engage with works of Concrete Art, including pieces by Alf Lechner. The contents are presented in a multimedia way, featuring audios, transcriptions, and interactive elements, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience.

This project is also an opportunity for the students to gain insights into art mediation. By developing and implementing the digital rally, they are not only learning about Concrete Art but also about the process of sharing art with others.

The digital rally is a new addition to the MKK's digital interim program, supported by the project "fabulAPP - Building Blocks for Digital Storytelling in Museums" of the Bavarian State Office for Non-State Museums. Funding for this project comes from the Bavarian Sparkassen Foundation.

The MKKD app, which hosts the digital rally, also contains other features such as a virtual "play with color," videos on restoration, and current information about the construction site. This app offers a fresh and interactive way for young people to engage with the world of art and the ongoing development of the MKKD.

Embrace the digital age and join the youth-led Concrete Art adventure today. The digital rally is now available on the MKKD app, waiting to guide you through the public spaces of Ingolstadt and introduce you to the captivating world of Concrete Art.
