Construction team completes last details at Terry P. Bradley Educational Center before the student's arrival
Terry P. Bradley Educational Center to Open Next Week
The Terry P. Bradley Educational Center in Clovis, California, is set to open its doors next week, welcoming its first students from the class of 2029. The school, which has been under construction since October 2024, will be shared by Clovis South High School and Phillip V. Sanchez Intermediate.
The campus, spanning over 165 acres, is being built in phases, with two academic towers at the intermediate school ready to hold classes for seventh, eighth, and ninth-grade students. Approximately 1,000 students are expected to attend the school.
Construction work on the campus will continue as more projects are completed, but students can rest assured that their safety is a top priority. There will be no interaction or cross-overs between contractors and students during school hours. The school will be thoroughly cleaned before students arrive to ensure a clean and safe environment.
On the first day, Principal Torossian will carry on Dr. Bradley's legacy by showing a video greeting to students. Parents are advised to take Highland as the best road on the first day, with further information to be provided through Parents Square and social media.
The main office, library, snack bar, and high school multipurpose room will be operational on the first day. The school's motto for students will be "Horns up." The sports fields are up and running, ready for students to participate in various activities.
Dr. Terry P. Bradley, the namesake of the school, passed away five weeks before the opening. His legacy will live on, and Principal Torossian will ensure that his vision for the school is carried forward.
