City looking for apprentices for 2026 linked with internet and trade shows
The city of Halle (Saale) is inviting young talent to attend the "Perspective Job 4.0" job fair on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This event will take place at the Standing House Merseburg, located at Oberaltenburg 2, 06217 Merseburg, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Organised by the city, the job fair aims to connect young individuals with opportunities in various professions. The city administration offers training and study programmes in over ten different fields, with the latest additions being the three-year apprenticeship for "Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r" (administrative clerk) and a dual study course in Verwaltungsökonomie (public administration economics), both starting from September 1, 2025.
During the job fair, attendees can learn about these programmes and more, as well as the practical aspects of the roles. The practice is learned in the respective specialist departments of the city, while the theory is taught by various vocational schools in Halle, the Saalekreis, and the Kyffhäuserkreis.
The dual study programmes are offered in cooperation with the Harz University of Applied Sciences in Halberstadt, the Dual University of Applied Sciences Gera-Eisenach in Gera, and the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt. These programmes combine theoretical learning with practical experience, providing a well-rounded education.
