Charity organization, Knuspr, initiates a fundraising effort for The Orphans' House Frankfurt Foundation.
The online supermarket Knuspr has announced the launch of its "Fill the School Bag" donation campaign in the Rhine-Main region, aiming to support 50 children growing up in low-income single-parent families in Frankfurt am Main. The campaign, running until August 11, 2025, is in partnership with the Waisenhaus Foundation, an organisation that offers individual support, including social pedagogical counseling, help with daily questions, and promotion in education, arts, and culture.
The Waisenhaus Foundation's outpatient care, which is for children aged five and above, teenagers, and young adults, aims to have these children ready for the new school year with joy and confidence. The goal of the campaign is to provide school supplies, healthy snacks, and small gifts to these children, ensuring they start the new academic year equipped and prepared.
Donors can contribute to this cause through the "Online Gift Card" function in the Knuspr webshop or app. The donation target for the campaign is at least 2,500 euros. If the donation target is not reached, Knuspr has pledged to make up the difference. All collected donations will be forwarded in full as Knuspr gift cards to the Frankfurt Waisenhaus Foundation and used to equip the school bags.
Donation amounts of 5, 15, 30, or 50 euros are available for donation. The new school year in Hesse is approaching, and this campaign offers an opportunity for individuals to make a difference in a child's life.
