AGiL's Vocational Mentoring Project Seeks More Volunteers in Kassel
AGiL's vocational mentoring project, led by Karin Weiß, is seeking more volunteers for local volunteering in the Kassel region. The project, funded by the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration, supports young people, often with migration or refugee backgrounds, in their transition from school to work.
Currently, around 50 volunteers are involved, providing career guidance, application writing assistance, and interview preparation. They also conduct regular training sessions to mimic real job interviews. The project seeks more life- and work-experienced volunteers from the city and the organisation.
Volunteers are integrated into a well-organised and professionally supervised network. They receive expense compensation and support through regular meetings, networking events, and further training opportunities.
