2025 IB ACIO-II Executive Recruitment Announced: Review Job Openings, Qualifications, Exam Structure, and Application Procedure

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has announced the IB ACIO-II Executive Recruitment 2025, offering a total of 3,717 vacancies for the post of Grade II/Executive across various categories. This opportunity is open to graduates who wish to serve the nation and are eligible for the position.

The recruitment process is set to begin in July 2025, with the release of the notification on the 15th. Candidates can apply online through the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs (mha.gov.in) from the 19th of July 2025, until the 10th of August 2025.

To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, be between 18 and 27 years old as of August 10, 2025, and possess basic computer knowledge, although it is not mandatory. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) and government employees.

The selection process involves three tiers: Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III. Tier-I consists of an objective test of 100 marks, lasting 60 minutes, with a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer. Tier-II includes an essay writing test (30 marks), and Tier-III is an interview carrying 100 marks.

Candidates should prepare well, focusing on previous year question papers, current affairs, general awareness, improving English writing and comprehension skills, and practicing logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude daily. It is also important for candidates to stay updated with notifications and important dates.

The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is Rs 650, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates pay Rs 550. The fees can be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or through SBI challan.

Successful candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 (Level 7 as per 7th CPC). Other allowances like special security allowance, dearness allowance, and transport allowance are also provided.
