2024 CII VLFM Achievement Narrative: Pioneering Leaders' Remarkable Odyssey Fostering Pioneering Success
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently launched the VLFM Success Story Book 2024 at the CII VLFM Learning Convention and Graduation Ceremony in Mumbai on 19 November 2024. This comprehensive book features 34 compelling case studies from a wide range of industries, showcasing the impactful journeys of Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing (VLFM) participants.
The VLFM Success Story Book 2024 highlights significant accomplishments in areas such as business breakthrough, quality improvement, productivity enhancement, cost savings, space optimization, material movement reduction, and employee engagement. It stands as a beacon of inspiration and a roadmap for India's industrial evolution.
The VLFM Programme, a unique collaboration between the Government of India's Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council (NMCC), CII, and premier academic institutions like IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and IIM Calcutta, equips senior managers with tools to bridge the gap between shop floor operations and strategic management.
The programme aims to address the need for leadership excellence to enhance India's manufacturing competitiveness. It is also addressing the need for visionary leadership to foster entrepreneurial spirit and sustainable growth in India's manufacturing sector.
The scope of the VLFM Programme is being extended to emerging sectors like defense, aerospace, tourism, and healthcare. CII reaffirms its commitment to shaping India's growth agenda by cultivating a new generation of leaders through the VLFM Programme.
